            Hello, the Device password is “ok123456”, and when you connect the IP,the camera need near the wifi router. And you need enter the right wifi account and the password. Would you please kindly check it is ok or not? If you still can not connect, would you please give us the video which you operate the camera? Then we will know what’s the problem of it.

    The camera is at home. When My phone is at home too it works fine. But when I leave home (and not on the home wi-fi)
    I have no access to the camera.

    Is it possible to watch the camera also when I’m outside home ???
    I didnt see and documents describing how to do this.

    What to do with the QR code the camera has. What software can use it ???

    This is so difficult to set up. I have been trying to set this up for almost 3 hours. Can’t connect. All I see is an offline message. The manual is so small I can’t even make out some of the print. How do you get it online? I should have read the other comments here before purchasing this camera.

        Just seeing this I have bought SIM card. But I cannot get these three cameras to work. There are two apps the newer one doesn’t work at all. The older one I can’t watch my home feed from outside the WiFi area. Also I’ve tried to set up my cameras at work and I have WiFi in my car but it will not show those WiFi addresses when needed. I have the Manuel. I still don’t understand how to change from app to ip or how to know it low on battery and how to make it pair and stay?

          Hello,please Log into iCookyCam APP, click the “+” in the middle or below the interface, then choose “Not been connected to the router”, click “Next” to enter the add device interface, input “ok123456” in the device password bar and then click “√”, APP will prompt “Connect to the router?”, please select “Yes” to enter the “Wi-Fi Network” setup interface. Choose the network you want to connect and input the right Wi-Fi password, then click “Connect”.

    I have C6 Smart Life Camera. I am set up and receive notifications says that the camera has detected motion. But when I open the camera on the app I only see the live camera and do not get a video clip of he captured motion. The motion notifications appear to take approximately 20 minutes from detection.

    I purchased the iCookyCam (“Smart Life Camera C6) over 90 days and it came in around three weeks ago. I have yet to be able to connect the camera to the WIFI. When the default password “ok123456 “ is inputted, it repeatedly populates the message “incorrect password for network .“ I’ve tried every version of the default password and nothing works.
    I even reset the camera twice. Please provide me with a solution or how can I return it and get credit back to my credit card. Thank you

    Hello, I have connected my C6 to my router and added it to the iCookyCam app on my IPhone. I am able to view the camera and use the app. Once I leave the wifi network on my phone and come back to the office to reconnect on wifi the C6 does not connect to my phone/my phone does not connect to the camera. If I search on the app for the camera is shows up but I cannot connect and I cannot add it again as it gives a “Timeout” error. The only way to reconnect is to reset and re-add on the app.
    How can I keep this camera connected to my router and reconnect with the IPhone app consistently?

      If the camera is inserted into the TF card, it will be recorded to the TF card in full time by default when the camera works normally. This is not required to be set. Then you can query the video file in the “query” TAB and perform playback operation.

      And you said to stop recording when the phone calls. This should be because you chose to record in the APP. This video is saved on the phone, which is different from the video on TF card.

      The function of motion detection and alarm is normal. Please try again.

      If you want to listen to the sound, please open the sound button on the APP.

    `I have tried to rest the camera – dont know whether this has worked or not – probably not now have flashing purple light on camera which is not stated in the instruction manual
    `Have now spent about 12 hours mucking about with this really fed up

    Hi I bought a camera and did everything exactly like the menu said but it doesn’t record at all time. I want it to record full time and be able to go back or foward a video. When I open the app it records when I press record but if I receive a call or I do something else on the phone the app closes and stop recording. Also the motion detector is not working at all. The app also doesn’t give me the option to talk. Please help me with all this priblems I’m having I really need my camera to work as soon as possible it’s very important to me.     I bought the smart life c2. I was able to connect it to my wifi but when I click on the camera from the list…it constantly says it’s offline. The indicator light flashes blue slowly. I have removed the device and added it again multiple times and nothing g happens it always says it’s offline and will not show any picture or recording. Please help!!!

    I have not trouble setting up my cam to wifi. That works fine (people need to be aware that you can set up the cam trough an accespoint OR direct from phone to cam without an accespoint)
    My problem is i cannot find a way to save the files on my microsd card. (32Gb, FAT32 formatted)

    The cam is a C6.

    I just got the camera. I followed instructions precisely and the app will continually show connection timeout message everytime, after 20 seconds of watching the wheel saying processing, even with the incorrect password. I have reset the camera, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, with SD card, without SD card. It doesn’t matter what I try. Oh and again I followed instructions precisely and entered the correct password. I would like a prompt easy to understand, proper English, reply with solutions. Don’t ask what camera I did bought because obviously it doesn’t matter. Solutions or I’m returning item

    I have the C6 I know the passwords and have it connected to my router and close by it. I am however unable to connect remotely. It is constantly offline when it was connected through wifi when I was home. And it read that it was online as long as I was connected through the cameras wifi signal. But once I connected to a new wifi the camera is unreachable.

    I ordered one of these. Could never get it to work. I had a more technical programmer friend try and he couldn’t get it to work. 30 + emails back and forth to the company and still it won’t work. I asked for my money back. NO They said to send it back with a tracking number.. It would cost more to send it back than the purchase. I am TOTALLY NOT IMPRESSED WITH THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE. I would say never by any of their product if that is how they deal with service.

    C2 Camera Won’t turn off.
    No matter what I do the light stays a solid blue. Had it connected to my PC. Had it working and had transferred videos via usb. But then its just stuck on. Tried to hold button or just press button and just about everything in between I can think of.

I tried the settings app and the app won’t let me do anything without password and setting button on app is not working.. also my second camera needs a chip to work can I buy that anywhere?

    I received a Model No: C2, Smart Life Camera. I can get it to somewhat function while attached to my iPhone 6S+ within the iCookyCam app. However, it only records as long as I have the camera close by. Once I walk further than about 10 feet away, it shuts stops the video recording. I have NEVER been able to get the C2 to just record on its own, either by just turning it on or by turning it on, waiting for the solid blue LED, and then pressing the power button twice. It has only once recorded to the SD Card (64GB). The quality was excellent and this whole process is frustrating. I just want to turn it on with the indicator turned off, and let it record until the battery goes dead. However this seemingly simple task, even though it says it will do it, will not function. I sent you email, but no one ever responded, so now I will try this discussion.

    Directions are horrible, Indicators that show status are horrible, App is horrible, Battery life is horrible, Motion detection is horrible (false alarms), Camera itself is OK. Camera will on stay on for 90 minutes when not plugged in and then goes offline when battery dies. Don’t buy if you’re not going to leave plugged in.

    Please how can I record straight to my memory card without connecting to WiFi.. love to camera but I don’t like the way the slight stays on always. It’s too easy to notice.     I followed your user manual exactly and this does not work. I can see the device in my wifi. When I connect using ‘12345678’, it shows connected but no internet available. When I open the app and try to add a device, it doesn’t find the device by searching the LAN or putting in the camera id. I assume the camera id is the long number on the back of the camera. Can you tell me how to add the device?

    The camera worked well initially, but at this moment it’s stuck on with a purple indicator light and no matter what I do in the manual with the power button, it just stays solid purple. It’s the Smart Life Camera C6. The WiFi connection is not available in my phone like it has been popping up as well, so I’m unable to connect to it. Please help.
